AndroVision® combines advanced image processing technology with powerful algorithms, allowing you to accurately and quickly evaluate up to 1000 sperm per analysis field. An exceptionally high level of accuracy is achieved through optimized image processing. In addition to standardized measurements of concentration and motility, this allows detailed analysis of sperm morphology, including detection of proximal and distal plasma droplets and bent tails - all in a single analysis.
In addition to morphological analysis, AndroVision® offers additional features such as fluorescence-based functional testing and networked data management. They provide laboratories with a high degree of flexibility and objective, computerized analysis that minimizes human error and ensures high repeatability.
Efficiency and reliability in semen laboratories
With its high analysis speed, AndroVision® delivers results in seconds, supporting fast and informed decision making. Approximately 30 ejaculates per hour can be analyzed, including sample preparation. The central database ensures reliable traceability and documentation of all analyses, while customizable reports and export to MS Excel make the system ideal for easy integration into your existing laboratory processes. Automatic calculation of the optimal number of doses from an ejaculate also optimizes the use of valuable sperm.
One system, endless possibilities
AndroVision® offers additional analysis options with different software modules to further optimize quality control in your laboratory:
- Membrane integrity: Automatic count of the percentage of spermatozoa with intact membranes.
- Acrosome integrity: Assessment of fertility by evaluating acrosome status. An intact plasma and acrosomal membrane are essential for sperm to penetrate the egg.
- Mitochondrial activity: Analysis of sperm energy processes for optimal motility. By analyzing mitochondrial activity, the energy metabolism of the sperm can be assessed.
- DNA integrity: Detection of DNA fragmentation as an indicator of sperm quality and fertility. The Halo technique differentiates between sperm with intact DNA and sperm with fragmented, defective DNA.
- Quality control of thawed and stored samples: Comparison of sperm samples for fertility assessment over time.
