Swine Benchmark 2021 is now available!

Dear colleagues!

We are happy to share the 2021 analysis of swine industry productivity from Dr. Derald Holtkamp: the fourth in a series of reports from the Global Swine Benchmarking project that analyses international pork production. 

Pork producers around the world are competing in a global market. While that market can, and is, distorted by politics and trade relations, the global competitiveness of individual countries still matters.  

Which factors gave each country a competitive advantage or disadvantage? These calculations, which provide a novel approach to evaluating competitiveness, help us isolate how much advantage or disadvantage each factor conveys to each country.
