Produmix was one of the main sponsors of the conference organized by CAPORC (acronym in Spanish for Costa Rican Chamber of Pork Producers) and held on 15 and 16 March in San José (Costa Rica)
In the conference, attended by producers from Central America, different professionals gave lectures on the situation of the swine market in these countries and on the health, feeding and care of pigs.
Produmix presented its range of products, which in addition to providing an optimal, safe and profitable growth of animals, can improve the homogeneity in litters.
Advances in genetics have led to hyper-prolific sows, which produce bigger litters, but with higher weight variability. Thanks to its R & D, Produmix has managed to develop technologically advanced products, able to achieve a greater uniformity in piglets.
In addition, Produmix surprised the audience with a succulent roasted pig to celebrate the National Day of Pork, which delighted everyone.
Produmix continues expanding in the Costa Rican market, where the Spanish firm has been a leader in the development of base mixes for piglets for over a decade.
