The IDEXX APP-ApxIV Ab Test is an enzyme immunoassay for the detection of antibodies against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP), the causative pathogen for swine pleuropneumonia, in serum and plasma of swine independently of the APP serotype.

The IDEXX Swine Salmonella Ab Test allows rapid screening for the presence of antibodies to a broad range of Salmonella serogroups, indicating exposure of the swine herd to the bacteria. Since serological screening is easy to run in large scale, it is useful for estimating the herd prevalence.

Samples can be tested simultaneously with any other IDEXX RealPCR reagents using shared reagents and a single real-time PCR program.
