During the first two months of this year, European pork exports have continued to grow with respect to last year's values, increasing by 16% (817,640 vs 710,260 tonnes).
Once again, pork exports to China stand out, representing 60% of total European exports and increasing by 77% in the first two months of this year compared to the same period last year (487,500 vs 275,390 t) while exports to other important destinations are decreasing (Japan -18%, Korea -34%).

Spain is the leading exporting country with 224,330 t exported, of which more than half goes to China (148,020 t), followed by Germany with 190,370 t exported (128,420 t to China).
