The Argentine government announced a series of economic measures for the industrial, agro-industrial, and construction sectors with the aim of boosting production and exports with high added value.

Within the measures for the agro-industrial sector, the Minister of Economy, Martín Guzmán announced that the export tariff on soybeans will be reduced from the current 33% to 30% this October, to converge to 33% in January. Guzmán specified that "the rest of the soy products and with greater added value will have more significant drops in duties, close to 27% in October for some oils".

It has also been decided to create a compensation and stimulus program for small soybean producers and cooperatives, to which 11.55 billion pesos will be allocated. The tariffs are also reduced temporarily for both foreign sales of soybeans and their main derivatives. As for biodiesel, the export tariff is reduced from 30% to 26% in October, and 29% in November.
