The Argentine Chamber of Animal Nutrition Companies (CAENA) worked jointly with the Ministry of Deregulation and Transformation of the State and National Food Safety and Quality Service (SENASA) authorities, to carry out a regulatory simplification for the animal nutrition sector, through the repeal of Resolution 594 of 2015 and its replacement by Resolutions 1415 and 1416 of 2024.

The previous system is replaced by an ex post control, in which SENASA will control in situ the compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), stated in each affidavit. In addition, in the new resolutions, the obligation to renew the certificates of Use and Commercialization and the authorization of warehouses and processing plants every 10 years is eliminated.

This system will be replaced by operating authorizations granted after an on-site inspection that verifies the proper functioning of the GMP program implemented by each company. This will ensure the safety of the products produced by the industry more efficiently.
