The epidemiological situation related to African swine fever (ASF) in Poland has improved compared to 2018-2021, but an alarming increase in the number of cases in wild boars has been observed recently, and the situation looks worse than in 2022. More than 70 new cases have been confirmed in the past few weeks.
Outbreaks were primarily found in Lower Silesia, Lublin, and West Pomeranian provinces, within the so-called red zones.
