The Friedrich Loeffler Institute (FLI)- the National Reference Laboratory for African Swine Fever (ASF), confirmed 9 new cases in wild boar yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Germany since the beginning of the epidemic to 103.
Currently, 13 cases have been confirmed in the Spree-Neisse district, 83 in the Oder-Spree district and 7 in the Märkisch-Oderland district.
The state of Brandenburg continues to systematically implement all necessary measures in the fight against ASF. Fencing is being put up around the so-called "White Zone" and the construction of permanent fences along the Oder and Neisse rivers is progressing well.
