In the state of Brandenburg, Germany new outbreaks of African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar were reported in areas currently listed as restricted zone II in close proximity to restricted zone I. Therefore these areas of Germany currently listed as restricted zone I, that are in close proximity to the areas listed in restricted zone II affected by recent outbreaks should now be listed as restricted zones II.
Several outbreaks of ASF in wild boar were observed in the górowski and mielecki districts in Poland in areas currently listed as restricted zones I. These new outbreaks of ASF constitute an increased level of risk and these areas should now be listed as restricted zones II. In addition, one ASF outbreak in domesticated pigs was observed in the międzychodzki district in Poland in an area previously listed as restricted zone II. This area of Poland should now be listed as restricted zone III due to increased risk.
Several outbreaks of ASF in wild boar were observed in the Humenné district in Slovakia in an area listed as restricted zone II, located in close proximity to an area currently listed in restricted zone I. Those new outbreaks of ASF constitute an increased level of risk, and accordingly, this area of Slovakia currently should now be listed as restricted zone II.
