After the detection of a new African swine fever outbreak (ASF) in Lithuania, the Belorussian veterinary services have decided to ban the imports of live pigs, pork and feed from Lithuania.

Hitherto the bans only affected the areas in which the disease had been detected. Nevertheless, after the last outbreak the ban affects the whole of Lithuania.
