Belarus - Meat and milk grow in price

According to the decision of the Ministry, in September and October 2010, limit prices for beef increased to 4% per month, up to 3% per month for pork.

According to the decision of the Ministry, in September and October 2010, limit prices for beef increased to 4% per month, up to 3% per month for pork.

The Ministry of Economy explained this decision had been adopted in order to compensate prices' increase for dairy and meat products step-by-step, as well as to bring these products' prices closer to the prices in neighboring countries. Furthermore, the increase of sale prices is caused by corresponding increase of purchase prices for milk, cattle and pigs.
