The Brazilian Agriculture Observatory Portal, opened to the public last May by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), is a Business Intelligence (BI) tool.

The objective of this service is to strengthen and improve the integration, management, access, and monitoring of data and information of strategic interest for the agricultural industry and for Brazil. Access to the computerized system is open to the public, and certain information is available according to access profiles.

The Observatory offers innovative solutions for information and communication technologies to support the decision-making processes of the Ministry and other users in the public, private, third sector, and society sectors.

The data collected in the Observatory's Portal are available in two main aspects: Statistical Platform and Geospatial Format dedicated to the integration of territorial data and information, which can be displayed and built according to the needs and interpretation of the users.
