Last Monday, 17th March, the new Minister of Agriculture (MAPA), Neri Geller, assumed his position in the Presidential Palace. Geller will replace Antonio Andrade, who assumed this position in March 2013.
Neri Geller headed up the Agricultural Policies Secretariat (SPA/MAPA) since January 2013, where he participated, actively, in the drafting of the Agricultural and Stockbreeding Plan 2013/14, which was considered one of the most complete ones ever launched by the federal government.
