Pork exports from Santa Catarina totaled 58,400 tons in March. The volume represents a drop of 5.1% compared to February, but an increase of 10.0% compared to the same month in 2024.
In terms of revenue, shipments brought in US$143.7 million - down 3.5% on the previous month, but up a significant 22.3% on March last year.

In the first quarter of 2025, the state exported 175,600 tons, with revenues of US$423.3 million - up 9.3% in volume and 19.7% in financial value compared to the same period in 2024.
The result consolidates the best first quarter in history in both indicators, reinforcing the sector's optimistic projections for the year. Santa Catarina accounted for 54.0% of the volume and 54.5% of the revenue from Brazilian pork exports in the first quarter, reaffirming its leadership in the international market.
