According to the International Relationships Department of the Ministry of Agriculture (SRI/Mapa), the Brazilian agribusiness exports during the first 10 months of this year reached 86.42 thousand million dollars, and this represents an increase by 6.9% in comparison with the same period during the previous year.
Between January and October, vegetable products were the main contributors to the growth in value of the exports (5.54 thousand million dollars), whilst meat placed second regarding sales, reaching 13.96 thousand million dollars.
Among the financial and demographic blocks of countries, Asia was the main destination for the Brazilian agribusiness exports. In comparison with the same period last year, the growth was by 21.3 %.
