Cambodia notifies new ASF outbreaks

The African swine fever virus has spread from the district of Oyadav to the district of O'Chum.

The OIE/WOAH has confirmed 3 new African swine fever (ASF) outbreaks in the towns of Kam, Kalorng and Py La'ak, in the district of O'Chum, province of Rattanakiri.

The 3 outbreaks add up 720 susceptible animals, with 306 cases.

With these new outbreaks, there are already 7 confirmed outbreaks, all of them in the province of Rattanakiri, since the first confirmation of the disease in early April.
