The Chilean Minister of Agriculture, Antonio Walker, announced that the Philippine health service has authorized 6 national establishments to export poultry and pork, opening this important market for these Chilean products.

This announcement is the result of negotiations carried out by SAG throughout 2019, which included a field audit by DAIM officials in Chile between September 21 and October 5 of last year, when they visited different plants.

The Philippines has authorized 4 pork and 2 poultry processing plants located in the Valparaiso and O'Higgins regions, which will be able to start shipping once the necessary animal health certificates are agreed upon by the health authorities of both countries.
