The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Claudio Ternicier, together with the National Director of the Agriculture and Stockbreeding Service (SAG), Ángel Sartori, and representatives of the swine private industry participated in the launching of the Official Programme for the Control and Eradication of the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome that will look for the stopping of the propagation of the disease and its eradication.
The industry and the Ministry of Agriculture have prepared a plan that expects to invest some $1,400 million during year 2014, out of which 60% will be a state contribution done by the SAG and 40% will depend on the industry.
