Trying to facilitate the commercial exchage between Chile and the Eurasian Economic Union (UEE), that includes Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Carlos Furche, together with the Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) National Director, Mr. Ángel Sartori, launched the digital certification system that connects the SAG with the Rosselkhoznadzor (the Russian Official Health Service), which means that the Rusian “Mercury” imports system has started to receive, online, the pork animal health certificates issued by the Chilean organism.
The launching was carried out at the Agrosuper plant, located in Rosario, in the O’Higgins region, and it was attended by the Regional Supervisor, Mr. Pablo Silva; members of the parlament of the area, representatives of the Chilen Pig Producers' Trade-Union Association (Asprocer), and representatives of the plant. The authorities supervised the issuance of the digital certificates for pork for the Eurasian region, because it is the first product that operates under this scheme for Russia.
