Chile will be able to export pork to the Caribbean Community market

The Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) will send two proposals for animal health export certificates (CZE) to complete the process, which will allow poultry and pork to be exported.

In the case of poultry shipments, since the animal health requirements establish that Chile must be free of avian influenza, exports may begin once the competent health authority sends a notice to the OIE declaring the country free from this disease.

For exports of pork, production and certification may be carried out as soon as the SAG notifies the regions of the country.
