Assistant of Rosselkhoznadzor’s Head Alexey Alekseyenko Visited China. The meeting between Alexey Alekseyenko and Li Chunfeng, Deputy Director of the AQSIQ's Import-and-Export Food Bureau, Head of the Department Wang Ning and AQSIQ Head of the Food Safety Department in Heilundzyan province Yu Suan took place in Beijing.
The Chinese party addressed to the Rosselkhoznadzor with the request to inspect pork production establishments of Heilundzyan province to authorize them for export of their products to Russia. It was agreed that AQSIQ would send a letter to the Rosselkhoznadzor with a request to carry out inspections as soon as possible and with specification of preferred dates and list of establishments subject to inspections.
Li Chunfeng expressed his readiness to cooperate with the Russian experts in field-specific issues on all possible international platforms including the WTO SPS Committee meetings, FAO Codex Alimentarius meetings, OIE as well as within APEC and BRICS etc.
