China boasts near perfect compliance with veterinary drug residue limits

Monitoring of veterinary drug residues has been completed for 2019 in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas outlined in the document "Veterinary Drug Residue Monitoring Plan for Animals and Animal Products in 2019.

Of the 9,190 batches of livestock and poultry products samples tested, 99.71% were found to be in compliance with regulations. The samples covered 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
