The Chinese Veterinary Authorities sent follow-up report number 20 last week to the IOE informing about the appearance of a new outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease in China.

The outbreak started in February of 2010 and since then they have been sending reports of new cases to the IOE, the last report being in April of 2011.

The farm, located in Longfeng Village, in the Guizhou Province, had 73 cows, 124 pigs and 19 sheep and goats of which 46, 78 and 9, respectively, showed symptoms of the disease.
