China: new outbreak of foot and mouth disease

A single outbreak of FMD has been reported in Tibet. The veterinary authority sent an Immediate Notification dated 10 october to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The report described a single outbreak of FMD on a farm in the village of Duixu (Zhongda town, Lang, Linzhi).

In total, 108 cattle, 2 sheeps and 22 pigs susceptibles were destroyed.
