New regulations on maximum residue limits for veterinary drugs in feed stipulate 2,191 limits and requirements for the use of 267 types of veterinary drugs.

According to reports, the recently published standards cover significantly more veterinary drugs and limit their quantities.

These standards now reflect the strictest standards of developed countries and regions such as the European Union and the United States along with important technical parameters such as residue markers, allowed dosage, residue limit values, and regulations of use.

More than 10 types of veterinary drugs with food safety risks have been eliminated or changed, and standards have been developed with a stronger and more rigorous scientific basis.
