China's pork imports in September reached 380,000 tons, bringing the total amount of pork imported during the first 9 months of this year to 3,280,000 tons. This figure represents a 147% increase over the amount imported during the same period last year (1,325,700 t).
If offal is also taken into account, the total figure of imports in September is 490,000 t. So far this year, total imports of meat and offal has reached 4,320,000 t.
