With the new regulations, the registration of manufacturers and importers will be based on a single format of basic information, through an online system that will operate automatically, according to the type of activity.
For this procedure, the chamber and commerce certificate, the sanitary concept, and the lease contract requirements requested in Resolution 1056 of 1996, were eliminated.
In the case of the registration of animal feed, this procedure will be offered through the information system. In the case of an application or additional information, it will contain all the information that is missing or needs to be supplemented or clarified for the issuance of the registration.
According to this new regulation, manufacturers or importers of animal feed must comply with the Good Manufacturing Practices, BPMAA, established in Resolution 61252 dated February 3, 2020, in order to prevent safety risks.
Manufacturers and importers of new animal feeds that are registered after the issuance of this resolution shall comply with Good Manufacturing Practices from the moment of registration.
