The tool will enable spatial analysis by superimposing geographic information on multiple topics and periods, from demographic, land, and census data to areas free of diseases or with low disease prevalence. As the data ecosystem is enriched, new variables will be incorporated.
The geoportal, articulated with the UnICA platform and the entity's diagnostic and surveillance systems, will be consolidated as the access channel for consultation, follow-up, and analysis of geo-referenced data on variables related to the country's sanitary and phytosanitary security, enabling decision-making with a territorial approach.
The Sanitary and Phytosanitary Geoportal will serve as a source of information for the sector's decision-making concerning management and productive projects. It will be accessible through any web browser and will launch in 2024.
