Colombia will be allowed to export pigs and cattle to Venezuela for reproductive purposes. It was established so in the protocols signed by the ICA and the Venezuelan Agricultural Health National Institute (INSAI).

For the exportation of pigs for reproductive purposes, the protocol signed by both countries establishes that the animals must come from farms registered with the ICA, they must have an Animal Health Certificate issued by the Institute, and they must be free from diseases such as the Classical Swine Fever, Swine Influenza type A, Swine Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, and Internal parasitoses, among other requirements.
