The OIE has reported an outbreak of African swine fever in Cote D'Ivoire. This is the first outbreak of the disease since 1996.

The outbreak is located in San Pedro, with high mortality in swine without prodromes. There are 1500 susceptible animals. Number of cases reached 600 and mortality still continues to increase. Several missions were sent to the field.
