Fourty-five workers tested positive for COVID-19 at Vion's slaughterhouse in Groenlo, leading the company to keep all 600 plant employees at home, quarantined for the next 2 weeks to prevent further spread of the virus.

The plant's pork production is being temporarily diverted to other processing plants that Vion has in the Netherlands.
