After 22 new workers tested positive for COVID-19 at Danish Crown's pig slaughterhouse in Ringsted, the company has decided to close its facility for at least one week as of Monday.

These new infections are in addition to the 120 already confirmed in the days prior, bringing the total number of infected workers to almost 150.

While no pigs are being slaughtered as of Monday, the cold storage rooms are currently full, so a group of employees will work to empty the rooms.
