On behalf of the 333 team, we wish to express our most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Robert Morrison, professor of the Swine Group at the University of Minnesota, who died in a traffic accident in the Czech Republic on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, when he was on his way to the ESPHM.
From these lines we would like to thank him for his work and we will always appreciate his willingness to collaborate in 333.
Also in the car were Dr. Spronk and Dr.Wetzell, who required hospitalization, and their respective wives, Deb Spronk and Pam Wetzell, who lost their lives in this tragic accident and Jeanie Morrison, wife of Dr. Morison, who is in critical condition.
Our deepest sympathy to their families.
Dr. Robert Morrison focused his research on the analysis and interpretation of productive and financial data of pig farms. He taught applied epidemiology and statistics to veterinary and post graduate students. Also worth mentioning is his work together with pig producers and field veterinarians to help them achieve their objectives.
