According to AESAN, the European Commission published a roadmap of the "Farm to Fork" strategy with the overall objective of accelerating the transition to sustainable food systems including primary production and all stages of the production chain, while promoting sustainable food consumption and facilitating the transition to healthy diets, reducing food waste, and maintaining or improving high standards of food safety, as a priority.
The roadmap is open for public revision from February 17 to March 16, 2020, to allow all stakeholders to express their views. Click here to see the roadmap.
