This training aimed to strengthen producers' knowledge and improve swine production practices.

The seminar addressed key issues such as good swine husbandry practices to ensure product quality and animal welfare, diagnosis, prevention, and control of swine diseases, breeding management, and genetic improvement. The producers also received a certificate of participation attesting to their knowledge.

Pig farming in Ecuador plays a fundamental role in the national economy and food security. This agricultural activity not only generates employment and foreign trade but also satisfies a growing demand for animal protein.
