Embrapa Swine and Poultry released three graphs with preliminary results of world swine production costs in 2021. The numbers were presented during the annual meeting of the Pig Production Cost Comparison Group (InterPIG).
The final estimates and analysis of the results will be available later this year from Embrapa's Poultry and Swine Intelligence Center (CIAS). Worldwide costs since 2010 are available on the CIAS website.
The InterPIG meeting is held annually, involving the main research institutions that study the competitiveness of swine farming in the leading producing countries. Embrapa Swine and Poultry has been participating since 2008.
