During the first semester of 2018, European pork exports have remained stable with respect to the same period in 2017, with a total of 1,935,084 tonnes (+0.6%).
China is the main destination, with 35.2% of the total quota, although the exports to China have dropped by 2%. Japan and South Korea hold the second and the third place, with 12% and 9% of the quota and increases by 5% and 17%, respectively. They are followed by The Philippines, Hong Kong and USA, with an important decrease by 35% of the exports to Hong Kong standing out.
