In 2014, European pork exports dropped by 5%, reaching 2,938,907 tonnes.

Russia, the main destination in recent years, has been the ninth destination of the exports after the Russian embargo that started by early 2014. On the other hand, we must highlight the exports to Asia: China, Hong Kong and Japan are the three main destinations of the European exports with market shares of 24%, 14% and 10%. We must also underline the important increases in the exports to South Korea (+108%) and The Philippines (+96%).
