During the first half of 2016, the European pork exports have reached 2,087,860 tonnes, and this entails an increase by 43.8% with respect to the same period in 2015.
China stands out as the main destination, with 47.2% of the total exports (984,865 tonnes), followed, at a long distance, by Japan and Hong Kong, with 9% and 8.6%, respectively.
In comparison with 2105, we must highlight the rise by 174% and 115% in the exports to Vietnam and China.
