Bosnia and Herzegovina has reported the first case of African swine fever (ASF) in the country to the World Organisation for Animal Health. The outbreak occurred on June 21, 2023, on a farm with one domestic pig in Bijeljina, Repuplika Srpska. According to the report, control measures have been implemented and the origin of the infection is unknown.
