Data from investigations carried out at the Tradivial slaughterhouse located in Fleury-les-Aubrais, in the Centre-Loire Valley region confirmed 34 cases of COVID-19 among the workers. In light of this situation, the slaughterhouse will be closed by order of the Prefecture for the time necessary to complete investigations and carry out disinfection procedures on the premises.

Following the May 13 report made by the Saint-Brieuc Hospital Cener about a patient with COVID-19, an employee of an agri-food company, the first health investigations identified five other confirmed cases of people who were working within a limited area of the company. Faced with this situation, ARS Brittany and the Prefecture of Côtes d'Armor organized a massive on-site screening campaign which took place on Friday, May 15, with 209 employees. The results of the testing brought the total number of confirmed cases to date to 69.
