The French government has announced an extension of the obligation to display the origin of meat in restaurants, to include pork, sheep, and poultry. This measure, in force since 2002 for beef, is designed to meet the expectations of farmers, consumers, and restaurateurs.

Producers will now be able to better promote the quality of their products by providing clear information on their origin. For consumers, this means greater transparency and a preference for French meats, renowned for their quality and taste. Lastly, for restaurateurs, this display is a competitive advantage, highlighting local products.
