France: presentation of the "Meat from France" label

The Minister of Agriculture of France, Stéphane Le Foll, together with the Vice-Minister of Social and Supportive Economy and Consumption, Benoît Hamon and the deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Guillaume Garot, presented last February 11th the "Meat from France" label.
This label, which the French consumers will be able to find in all the shops, will identify the meat that comes from animals born, raised, slaughtered and processed in France. It will allow to assess the social, health and environmental conditions with which these meats have been produced and processed.
