Last week, the decree by means of which the evolution of the prices of raw materials in the relationships between suppliers and distributors will be more borne in mind was published in the Official Journal of France.
The law on consumption generates the obligation of including a renegotiation clause in the sales contracts of some food products whose production prices are affected significantly by the fluctuations in the prices of foods and agricultural raw materials.

The decree, that has been settled with the agricultural organizations, the food industry and the businesses, defines the list of products affected and the procedures for the traceability of the renegotiation. This device is especially applicable to milk and dairy products, fish, meat, eggs and pasta.
