The National Institute of Statistics has just published the data from the Agricultural Census 2020 according to which, if we analyze the predominant type of livestock in Spain according to livestock unit (LSU), pig production is the most important among the different Autonomous Communities, except in the north of Spain where cattle carries a greater weight, and the Balearic and Canary archipelagos, where the greatest weight is respectively the combined sheep and goats category, along with poultry.
