The German Ministry of Agriculture launched a year ago the campaign "A Question of Attitude – New Ways for Better Animal Welfare." To commemorate the first anniversary of the initiative, and considering that animal welfare is a priority for the Ministry, they have now launched a new web portal (www.tierwohl-staerken.de), a platform where consumers can find answers to questions such as "How are animals raised?" "How can we know, at the time of purchase, that the products come from animals raised in a respectful way?", and where they will find information on the various initiatives by the Government.

According to Minister Christian Schmidt, the new portal shows the progress achieved in the fight against welfare problems and highlights key challenges, showing consumers that livestock sectors are actively working to improve animal welfare.
