Seven months after the first outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) in the wild boar population in Germany, a total of 1,016 cases have been confirmed.
Currently, there are 108 confirmed cases in Saxony and in Brandenburg there are 908 total cases:

- District of Spree-Neisse: 72
- District of Oder-Spree: 528
- District of Märkisch-Oderland: 237
- District of Dahme-Spreewald: 49
- Frankfurt (Oder): 22
To date, the domestic pig population in Germany remains free of ASF.
