Germany: The Medicines Law amendment has been approved

After the approval, by the Bundestag, of the amendment of the Medicines Law, and after months of negotiations between the federal and state governments, finally, the German Federal Council, in the Conciliation Committee between the Bundestag and the Bundesrat, approved last Friday the amendment of the aforementioned law.

One of the goals of the amendment is to reduce to a minimum the use of antibiotics in the animal production sector.
