The national reference laboratory, the Friedrich-Löffler-Institut (FLI), has confirmed the presence of African swine fever (ASF) in another farm of domestic pigs in the Märkisch-Oderland district.
It is a small farm with four fattening pigs (two of the animals died and the other two have been destroyed and disposed of) and is located near the farm where ASF was confirmed on Thursday.
On Thursday, the virus was detected in a farm with 200 animals in the Spree-Neisse district and in another with two animals in the Märkisch-Oderland district.
